Valentine's Day Gift Advice: Go the Extra Mile!

This Valentine's Day, go the extra mile when you get her a gift.  Let her see that you put some effort into it.  Remember, it's the thought that counts!  Here are some ideas:

  • So you picked out that great leather passport cover for your special girl, but why stop there?  Why not include a pair of airline tickets for a weekend away?
  • Or, maybe she loves to bake, and you want to get her that amazing blender.  Throw in a TasteBook, which I got for Christmas, and love!  Or, think bigger...why not attach a gift certificate to a local culinary class that specializes in her passion?
  • Want to get her a comfy robe or pajamas?  Great!  Include a gift certificate from a spa to complete the thought.  Or pair the robe or pj's with a bath set.
  • A bottle of her favorite wine would go great with a gift certificate to a local winery, or better yet, a getaway to Napa or Sonoma.
  • A picture frame - boring right?  Put a romantic picture of you two in it, and see how she reacts.

Basically, we women want you guys to give a gift and then go the extra mile.  We want to be surprised.  Her face will light up when you go beyond the usual.  It doesn't have to be expensive, just thoughtful.  In fact, many of the ideas above and on our site are under $100.

Don't feel overwhelmed.  That's why we're here.  Visit LubDub.com for more great gift ideas!
